Retro Ball in Krakow
On
Saturday (Nov.12th, 2011) between 7.00 p.m. and 11.00
p.m. the Polish Song Library Centre of Culture will hold a
RETRO BALL at the Krakow Museum of Urban
Engineering in ul. Św. Wawrzyńca 15, Hall
D.
The event will feature live renditions of pre-war
hits performed by the ‘Retro.art’ band, as
well as songs of the 50s and 60s of the 20th
century.
Dancers of the Cracovia Danza Court Ballet will add lustre to the event by presenting fragments of ‘The 20s, 30s Programme’ and teaching the participants of the ball foxtrot and charleston dance steps.
Evening dress is required – historical costume is welcome.
Cloakrooms are arranged by the organizers as well as paid catering (Grupa Kościuszko Polskie Jadło S.A.).
The ball will be led by Waldemar Domański.
