Jane Austen Scenic Dance School Group

Jane Austen Scenic Dance School Group is interested in popularize both English and Scottish ball dances from the turn of the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries (English and Scottish Country Dances). However, the main interest is the period of the Regency, the beginning of the nineteenth century (in Poland it is time the Duchy of Warsaw). At the time, in fashion, the empire style is on the top, and on this very model dancers’ costumes are styled. School gathers together a number of people who share passion for dance and love for the courtly culture of bygone eras. The school has existed since 2011 and works in Krakow in „Center of Culture Krakowiacy”
