The Workshops
Below you will find the details of the forthcoming edition of the ‘Cracovia Danza’ Court Dance Workshops which will be held during the 14th ‘Cracovia Danza’ Court Dance Festival under the theme of ‘Spanish Court’.

Types of the 2013 workshops with teachers:

Please bring a comfortable workout outfit and soft shoewear to all classes. If you have confirmed your participation in the final presentations, please prepare a suitable costume for this occasion (e.g. women: a long loose skirt & stylish blouse or bodice; men: puffed knee-length pants & a stylish shirt) as well as shoes appropriate for dancing.

07.00 PM - official opening of the Festival and the inauguration

- workshops (between 08:00 AM and 06.00 PM, followed by
evening presentations by ensembles)

07.00 PM - dance presentations to mark the end of the
workshops

Within each course the participant may
attend:
- evening concerts and presentations
organized at Villa Decius;
- lectures devoted to the subject of court culture;
- Cracovia Danza historical ball;
- consultations with experts;
- final presentations at Villa Deciusand the city centre.

- the cost of 1course is 200 PLN and
children's dance course: 140 PLN
Advance deposit:
The 1st installment
covering the cost of participation in the Workshops is 100 PLN per
person and is due by July 10th, 2013.
The final installment for the Workshops should be paid by
transfer or in Krakow, directly before the Workshops start.
Prepaying the whole amount is welcome.

Due to the intimate character of Villa Decius, the
number of places available is limited!
Participants
may choose to attend any of the courses offered. However, due
to the limited number of places, participants wishing to take part
in multiple courses are requested to consult the Organizers.
Individual participants will take precedence to perform with
the ‘Decius Danza’ Workshop Ensemble over
participants who are members of ensembles. Members of
participating ensembles will take part in the final presentations
within their own groups.

Accommodation:
The Festival can
provide workshop participants with an inexpensive accommodation
option in the classrooms and gym of a school located in the Krakow
city centre for only 10 PLN per person per night. The school is
fitted with full bathroom and toilet facilities. The number of
places available is limited. In order to secure a place, a
reservation is necessary. If using this option, remember to bring
your own mattress, foam pad or sleeping bag.
Other accommodation options in the city remain within the
participants' own compass. We can enclose a list of reasonably
priced hotels and hostels on request. In exceptional circumstances,
we can help book rooms on condition we are notified about the need
in advance.
Dinners:
There is a possibility to
book lunches at the Villa Decius Restaurant for the period of the
whole workshops. The cost of 1 lunch is 18 PLN (soup or appetizer,
main dish, beverage). Advance booking is required.
