The 20s and 30s of the 20th century were the unusual times for Poland. The country, which regained its freedom after 150 years, has been developing incredibly in many different fields. One of them was art including its youngest branch - the cinema. The performance At the Old Cinema presents those times bringing the greatest hits of Polish cinema of that time. The music used in the performance includes the famous songs: UmÃ³wiÅ‚em siÄ™ z niÄ… na dziewiÄ…tÄ…, Ada, to nie wypada, Jadzia, po prostu Jadzia and Czy tutaj mieszka panna Agnieszka?. At the Old Cinema is the story especially about love told with the use of pantomime and dance with its famous forms such as tango, charleston, waltz and jazz dance.
