November 17th, 18th, 19th
Romana Agnel has cooperated with Warsaw Chmaber Opera as a choreographer and a director many times. This year she has been invited to create her own vision of Pigmalion by J. Ph. Rameau. The performance will be totally different from the previous, modern version of Pigmalion presented on Warsaw Chamber Opera stage. Romana Agnel is preparing a real feast for the lovers of early music and dance. Her Pigmalion / Dardanus is meant to be a travel in time, to the epoque of French baroque. In this performance she creates an atmosphere of the French royal court of the 17th century, where the operas and ballets were played. An interesting feature of that production is the enriching Pigmalion ballet by some fragments of Dardanus opera.
The premiere will take place in the Warsaw Chmaber Opera theatre on November 17th at 7 pm. The next performances will take place on November 18th and 19th.
