DANCE WITH FIGURES

The Dance with Figures performance is a collection of poetry and dance, based on a volume of poetry by Izabella Klebańska titled ‘How Dance was once Performed, or Dance with Figures’. This is an intriguing collection of poems which present court and character dances in a light and unconventional manner, with dance parts performed live. The stage becomes populated with historical figures, such as King Louis XIV and the Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz, but also an elegant French... cow or a crane with the best legs in the whole district.
