Kurs francuskiego tańca barokowego – poziom średnio zaawansowany / zaawansowany

Będziemy pracować nad la Pavane des Saisons, wspaniałym tańcem z repertuaru barokowego zapisanym w notacji Beauchampa-Feuilleta. Ten taniec dla pary stanowi doskonały przykład tańca „w stylu francuskim”, charakteryzującego się grą symetrii oraz wzorami kreślonymi w przestrzeni, przypominającymi ozdobne arabeski i ornamenty spotykane w ogrodach pałacu w Wersalu.

Na początku zajęć, po rozgrzewce, będziemy ćwiczyć sekwencje kroków techniki tańca barokowego, aby lepiej poczuć dynamikę ruchu oraz dopracować precyzję i jakość wykonania poszczególnych kroków.

French Baroque dance course – intermediate/advanced level

We will be working on *La Pavane des Saisons*, a magnificent dance from the Baroque repertoire notated in the Beauchamp-Feuillet system. This dance for a couple is a perfect example of ‘French-style’ dance, characterised by a play on symmetry and patterns traced in space, reminiscent of the decorative arabesques and ornaments found in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.

At the start of the class, following a warm-up, we will practise step sequences from Baroque dance technique to better feel the dynamics of the movement and refine the precision and quality of execution of individual steps.
